What is community solar?

Community solar (or "shared" solar) is a program where solar energy is produced by a remotely installed solar garden (AKA solar farm), with all electricity produced flowing into the electric utility and creating solar bill credits. Local residents and businesses are then able to subscribe to the solar garden and benefit by receiving those solar bill credits on their electric bills - saving them money, and supporting clean, local energy generation without having to install panels on their roof or property.

Will I notice any change or interruption in my service?

There is no change in how you get your power or the reliability of your service. You are still connected to the power grid. If the power goes out you call National Grid like you would normally.

What does it cost to join?

It does not cost anything to join Dynamic Energy's community solar garden. There are no maintenance fees, construction fees, or any hidden costs to participate. You buy the solar bill credits at a discounted rate compared to National Grid. It's that simple - start saving today!

Is there a commitment?
